Our Rescues

It’s no secret that Jess has a huge passion for cats. Don’t believe it? Check out this picture... that’ll maybe prove it. 😉 Jess has loved cats ever since she was a child, where she was always finding kittens and dragging them along with her. That passion carried over to her as an adult and now JR Ranch takes in rescues.

We take in kittens and pregnant mama cats to find them their forever home. Once the kittens are old enough, they go to their forever home and then we spay the mama cat and try to find them their forever home too. 

Why do we do this? 

Cats. Are. Everywhere. It’s the sad truth, but there are so many cats that do not have a home. Canada has an estimation of 1.2 - 4 million stray and feral cats. In our mind, that’s 4 million too many. We believe that every cat should have a human to call their own. AND we believe that every person should have a cat to call their own. 😉
